"See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." ― Japanese Proverb

As there are 3 movies this post about Star Wars: Sequels consists of 3 parts: "See no evil", "hear no evil" and "Goona speak some evil." Before starting the review, I want to say that I didn't like the trilogy overall, but I have different feelings for each film separately. As you can know from previous Star Wars reviews, I am a Star Wars (especially Orginal Trilogy) fan and I always try to see the positive sides of Star Wars movies, but a bad movie is a bad movie. Let's start with the first movie without getting into details of our movie review.

The Force Awakens: See No Evil
Firstly, I think that The Force Awakens is the best movie after The Orginal Trilogy. Although I also liked The Revenge of the Sith, I didn't get the same excitement that I got from this movie from Prequels. I watched it at the cinema, and there were both 60-year-old guys and some random kids: The movie gathered all the people of all ages together. I really liked that environment and that excitement. So, even the excitement of the movie was enjoyable.
For the actual movie, I liked it. It had some negative sides, but it was enjoyable to watch all the actors playing well and the characters were as good as the characters in the Original Trilogy. Every single character in the movie has a unique personality. And John Williams composed the soundtrack, so again the soundtracks were amazing. Sometimes, I felt like the movie was repeating itself, but it wasn't that bad and I enjoyed the movie in general. Although there are little problems, See No Evil.

The Last Jedi: Hear No Evil
After the end of The Force Awakens, I expected to see a movie that is like a sequel to The Force Awakens, but it was like a completely new movie. This didn't annoy me, but I felt like falling into the Sarlacc Pit. The previous movie seemed aimless, as there was nearly no connection between the movies except the characters. However, the movie was individually well-developed, so after 30 minutes I got used to the new scenario.
One of the parts I liked in this movie and the previous Sequel movie was seeing the old characters in the movie. I was afraid to just watch these previous characters. Although it was enjoyable to watch them in the Orginal Trilogy, I wouldn't want to watch their adventures again. But they used the previous characters wisely in the movies.
I also liked the directing of Riaan Johnson although it wasn't perfect. There was an order in the scenes and everything was understandable. And the cinematography of the scenes was really good. But the movie got boring for me at some points, it got even worse near to the end, but at the last moment, they fixed it. So it was a bumpy road while watching but the destination we went to was nice. I liked the movie, but they forced the movie to be good and that made the movie fake. Despite everything, I love Star Wars, so Hear No Evil.

The Rise of Skywalker: Gonna Speak Some Evil
Yes, I will speak some evil at this part of the post because I didn't like the movie. Some people might say "It wasn't that boring." But we have already watched it. We watched it in The Last Jedi, we watched it in The Force Awakens, we watched it in Return of the Jedi, we even watched it in Revenge of the Sith. They just did everything that was done before again. That's why I don't even remember what happened in the movie.
They also tried to get the attention of the audience by making tons of plot twists and epic scenes, but after 1 point it was too much. They made a lightsaber duel between Kylo and Rey, they showed Leia as a Jedi, they showed Rey on the dark side, then we understood she never turned to the dark side, they made Kylo turn onto the light side, Palpatine returned, we learned that Palpatine was behind Snoke, Kylo and Rey became valentines (or something like that), Leia died, Kylo and Rey fought with Palpatine, all the Jedis talked with Rey and they finally killed Palpatine again. All of these things would be nice separately, but it is too much when you use all of them. You can't make a delicious meal by adding everything in the fridge (even the fridge itself) to the meal.
I don't know why they made something like this. Maybe Palpatine wanted "unlimited power", or maybe Star Wars fans attacked the studio and wrote a screenplay like this. Whatever it is, the movie was a failure. But "Greatest teacher failure is." as Yoda says. So Disney+, it is your turn, we are waiting for Star Wars productions that will remind us of the Original Trilogy. If you liked this writing and if you wonder about other Star Wars reviews, you can read all the other Star Wars reviews of me and my mango sister. If you want to watch high-quality Star Wars productions like the Original Trilogy, I would recommend you The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch, or The Clone Wars.
